Colpa, Cripscolia, or Scolia
Probably either
Colpa octomaculata
or
Scolia nobilitata
(though another spotted species is
Crioscolia alcione
). Specimens from Colorado have fairly similar coloration and are most easily separated based on wing venation (not visible here). The proportion of the scape to the rest of the antennae might be closer to the latter, but it's hard to measure accurately at an angle. (
Xanthocampsomeris
species won't occur this far north and have more distinctive and prevalent reddish-brown hairs on a blacker integument, and true
Campsomeris
are more neotropical.)
