What a beauty! - Lepiseodina conspicua

What a beauty! - Lepiseodina conspicua
Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA
July 19, 2020
I was hunting moths for moth week. This is not a moth, but whatever. Is this something like Lepiseodina conspicua?

Moved tentatively
Moved from ID Request.

Following other editors' leads, I've been placing flies that look like this in L. conspicua. However, there are comments under some of the images (here, for instance) indicating that microscopic examination is needed to distinguish conspicua from superba. So I consider this placement tentative.
