Looks the similar to:
May 18, 2020: collected (again) more last-year stems of Evening primrose, Oenothera biennis
, in an effort to rear Mompha eloisella
and perhaps find a pupa in situ
June 20, 2020: some adult moths finally emerged so was going to put all stem cuttings out of doors but decided to have a last look. In this stem there was a parasitoid in a cocoon & in another section of the stem there was a round something.
Both were associated with the Mompha eloisella
June 23, 2020: wasp emerged, released
January 8, 2021: before tossing vials of unsuccessful rearings, a last look (which yields next to nothing). In this rearing the round something was no longer white but rather yellow. Cut it open to a dead wasp.
