Palm weevil? - Derelomus subcostatus

Palm weevil? - Derelomus subcostatus
Roseville, Placer County, California, USA
August 31, 2020
Size: 4.3 mm
Taken from 20 watt UV light bucket trap.
Elevation = 87m (285'), GPS= 38.7226, -121.2992.

Derelomus is not in Arnett (1) but it keys to pg. 733, couplet 10(9)- Elaeidobius which it definitely is not, so I couldn't really key it out and I couldn't find any other keys of value.

Probably Derelomus subcostatus? = Fan Palm Pollinating Weevil.
Introduced: see this for BugGuide discussion. Apparently in southern CA since before 2012.

Looks like it has moved north.

Interesting characters:
-- Interesting notch in the pronotal anterior lateral margin/carina. This can be seen in other images on BG labeled D. subcostatus.
-- Profemur without ventral tooth.
-- Tarsal claws simple.
-- Interesting fringe of hairs on ventral protibia.

Hope to get this verified to species for distribution in CA information.
