If you check the info page for the
Bristly Rose Slug
,
Cladius difformis
, you will see that Dr. D.R. Smith maintains that "
the two are distinct species, with
C. pectinicornis
being strictly Palaearctic.
" (Wow, 1799 was a long time ago!)
However, BOLD has some specimens of
C. pectinicornis
from both the east and west-coasts of NA. The info page has not been updated for 7 years though. I can't tell them apart in an image anyway.
