longhorn bee with thick furry tan thorax - Melissodes - male

longhorn bee with thick furry tan thorax - Melissodes - Male
Cardinal Marsh, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
July 26, 2020
Size: ~11 mm
This male long-horned bee looks like Melissodes but beyond that I can't tell if it might be druriellus, dentiventris or maybe a small sunflower-visting long-horned bee. The photos might not be able to show those key ID details needed to make a species call but I thought I'd try.
