Is this Mountain Lady Beetle (Coccinella monticola) - Coccinella

Is this Mountain Lady Beetle (Coccinella monticola) - Coccinella
Stevensville, Ravalli County, Montana, USA
March 14, 2013
Size: 3 to 4 mm
I was going through Lady Beetle photos and didn't have an identification for this one. If it is Coccinella monticola it hasn't been reported to the Montana Field Guide for Montana. It was on a sagebrush in dryland habitat. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Probably
I don't think C. difficilis reaches Montana, and the marking width seems to align better with monticola. These two species are very similar especially in forms like this where the front bar separates a free spot.

Hmm, guess difficilis does reach MT
