Was photographed on a sheet Jan 20, 2021 and is from the wild. Temperature around 60 degree F last night

 
Interesting...
I've seen lots of specimens from early March in the Deep South, but never a January specimen!

Anelaphus parallelus, for now!
There was a recent paper by Steven Lingafelter that synonymized Anelaphus parallelus under Anelaphus villosus. This was based on the type series and is too complicated to reiterate here. I believe that parallelus is a distinct taxon and for now will maintain the two species for BugGuide's purposes until further research is done on the group.

The characters that distinguish this specimen as parallelus are as follows: the longer, narrower form; the third and fourth antennomeres being subequal in length; and the pubescence of the elytra forming vague vittae. Also - parallelus flies much earlier in the season than villosus, but I'm not sure if your specimen was active in the wild on the date you cite, 1/20...
