4-4-4 Teneb - Anchomma costatum

4-4-4 Teneb - Anchomma costatum
Bogart Co. Park near Cherry Valley, Riverside County, California, USA
May 22, 2008
Size: 2.2mm
Found by a friend while sifting a Liometopum ant nest at the base of an oak tree. The 4-4-4 tarsal formula readily distinguishes this from other Pimeliinae in the US.

wow
that's a crazy looking teneb

yup
first was in Colydiid, then it was with Araeoschizus in the Stenosines, now in Anepsiini. Probably the coolest Teneb (asides from all the Coniontis) of the trip.
