Came to MV light I had set up with a generator near a marshy stream area on a hot, humid night.

hope Donald can identify it to species. N. nigricornis seems the most likely. All species are found on Potamogeton

Yes, I need to send Don a few beetles.
Here is the only image I turned up for nigricornis in several google image pages:

The only other species on the NH checklist is melshei*meri.
