Dixidae?? - Dixella dorsalis

Size: 7 mm
It retreats into water when disturbed, hanging by its hind end. It doesn't stay for long, however, quickly slinking back up above the water line. Note the fleshy ventral appendages.

Perhaps this is a Dixid larva? Looks quite similar to this.
