Caterpillar? - Isa textula

Caterpillar? - Isa textula
Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, USA
February 1, 2021
Size: 1.5cm x 1.0cm
Found this amazing little creature under a laurel oak about a week ago. Wasn’t sure if it fell from the tree because it was dead or just stunned by the freeze. Now it’s happily munching on oak leaves and pooping, very much alive! So delicate and alien-like... maybe a moth larvae? Anyone seen one before??
