Found along mesic forest edge. I thought I previously posted this and got an ID as well but it's not showing up in the records for IL under genus or species.

I would agree with the V. scepsiformis.

We always move all sesiids to sesiidae

That doesn't help. Even a ge
That doesn't help. Even a genus ID would be helpful as this one does not resemble the Carmenta or Synanthedon. I was sure I got an ID from BG as I hadn't put this up on I-Nat.
