Amara longula is a top contender here
among the four members of the subgenus Zezea known in California. The ventral view on my screen does not show well the trifid spurs of the front tibiae which I think are partially missing. It would be good to make sure of this structure. See type image of A. longula at https://mczbase.mcz.harvard.edu/guid/MCZ:Ent:5675

This species is aptly named for its proportionately long elytra. I would appreciate extra examples of Amara for my study of western fauna which hopefully will culminate someday in a published key. I don't yet have this species in my study collection.

I do.
I do. I can add the species guide page on here later, and will upload my longula from Keizer.
