Spring Valley Nature Area in Schaumburg, Cook County, Illinois, USA

Size: 1.5 inch
I don't think it's blue dasher. Green face and pale pruinose blue thorax and abdomen. Sorry for the quality...

hmmm....
Isn't it a little small for Eastern Pondhawk? Does that matter? I've seen female eastern pondhawk, and I remember her being much larger than this guy, but I don't know if that matters...
