Size: .9 mm
I'm not sure if this is an insect ... I pulled apart a wisp of moss from the side of a honey locust trunk and found this tiny creature. Photographed with a microscope and a cell phone

Yes, Lepinotus
It's not L. patruelis, which is uniformly dark across head and abdomen. I haven't seen L. inquilinus. This specimen is highly likely to be Lepinotus reticulatus. Specimens often lose the wings. The coloration and shape of the abdomen fit L. reticulatus well.
