Full Title: Assessing genetic diversity in four stink bug species, Chinavia hilaris, Chlorochroa uhleri, Chlorochroa sayi, and Thyanta pallidovirens (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), using DNA barcodes.

This study found greater levels of genetic divergence between west coast Chinavia and their eastern counterparts than the level of genetic divergence present between two other members of Nezarini: Chlorochroa uhleri and Chlorochroa sayi. The two Chlorochroa species are closely related and considered to be cryptic species. Considered in combination with differences in adult antennal coloration and nymphal color morphs, further investigation may be warranted to determine the relation between eastern and western Chinavia hilaris.
