Interesting specimen...
I've seen very few of these with no pale markings on the elytra, other than in the southern form "spinifera" and never a specimen from the North. How was this collected? It's an early one in Ohio - but normal early is like late April, early May!

Knulliana cincta
My granddaughter found this specimen on the window sill in our Living Room! Haven't seen any outside (yet).

Somewhat prophetic post...
I was in southern Ohio during the week of 5-8 April 2021 and collected one of these - a male. First I had seen there in some time... it was fun to collect one again!
