Little Wall Lake, Hamilton County, Iowa, USA

December 19, 2018: 2 bruchid beetles

These beetles have been ID'd from NE Iowa by G. Keeney as A. submuticus but he also stated "It's entirely possible that these two species do indeed "cohabitate" … but we can't know for sure until we actually find a definitive A. floridae.”

Batch pods confined.
