Skipper? - Phyciodes tharos - male

Skipper? - Phyciodes tharos - Male
Greenbottom WMA, Cabell County, West Virginia, USA
June 1, 2008
I keep wanting to think it is some kind of skipper, but I've gone through all of the pictures in my Kaufman's and nothing matches. The pictures was taken in late evening is a grassy area bewtween woods and a swamp.

Moved
Moved from Butterflies.

Not a skipper
Ends of their antennae are sorta "scoopy" as opposed to clubbed for other butterflies. Check images here and you'll see what I mean.

Looks like...
A worn pearl crescent (Phyciodes tharos)
