Potentially a new state record for Arkansas.
Gordon, before I add it to the Registry of Nearctic Geadephaga, please tell us how confident you are in your species determination? The description of the pronotum by Curt Harden for another post appears to be a good match. Sphaeroderus indianae is known in the adjacent states MS and TN. Your record is from northeastern AR, close to the border with TN, and so it would become the new westernmost state. Thanks.
