Pallid-winged Grasshopper? - female

Pallid-winged Grasshopper? - Female
Mather Regional Park, Sacramento County, California, USA
July 3, 2015
Size: 1 inch +/-
I observed this light-colored grasshopper in sandy colored terrain making me think the grasshopper is well camouflaged.

Did you see the wing color?
Or perhaps get another photo showing the hind tibia?

My first guess, at first glance would have been Trimerotropis occidentalis, but she does seem a bit slender for that species, and it's difficult to be certain.

Wing color?
If I did see the wing color, I am unable to recall since that was almost 6 years ago.

I should have added
T. occidentalis usually would have translucent blue wings, sometimes leaning toward more greenish. The males in particular tend to make a fairly sharp snapping sound when they fly (not particularly loud, but still clear and easy to hear).

T. pallidipennis makes a sound that is more like short bursts of buzzing (it's been called a "pulse buzz"). Easier to hear the difference than to describe it.
