White-spotted Brown Moth - Diastictis ventralis

White-spotted Brown Moth - Diastictis ventralis
Doerun Pitcher Plant Bog WMA, Colquitt County, Georgia, USA
March 22, 2021
At the time of this submission, there were no BG records at all for Georgia.
However, there were March and April records in BG for nearby Alabama.
Also an April record for the panhandle of Florida in MPG.

This individual was NOT located in the Pitcher Plant Bog itself.
Specimen was located a short distance away from an Ochlockonee River feeder creek and near an upland pine forest.
This is just south of Hagin Still Road near the northern boundary of the WMA.
Approximate location: 31°17'40.5"N 83°52'26.9"W
This area had been burned well approximately 10 months earlier (May 2020).
I think there were other individuals along the path I was on, but I was only using photography (had no binoculars) and could not ID them.
