Honey Bee on Black Snakeroot -
Apis mellifera
Windsor, Windsor County, Vermont, USA

This looks like a honey bee to me, and my neighbor has an apiary. I found this one on black snakeroot, which is a high attractant to many insects.

Please be sure to crop your pics...
...as close to "just the bug" as possible. Only you and the editors/experts have the ability to click on the photo and see the full size version. Everyone else is stuck looking at a little bug in a lot of unnecessary background. :)
