Giant (1cm long) Green-Colored Scale(?) Insect on Erythrina herbacea

Size: Approx. 1cm long
Appear to be being farmed by ants. Found on Coral Bean (Erythrina herbacea) flower stalks only. Attempts to remove them result in bursts of green goo. Any ideas? The only green scale insects I can find are all way too small.
