Remarks
Formerly included the very similar southwestern species Planipona delta. The members of this species group are quite different and distinctive from the rest of the members in the genus Gyponana, so they have been segregated here on the Guide to clearly differentiate them from the rest of the genus (as they may perhaps belong to a new genus of their own).
