Blue species? - Glaucopsyche lygdamus
Old Foresthill Bridge as it crosses the North Fork of the American River , Placer County, California, USA

Size: 1/2 inch +/-
As I walked along a trail north of the Old Foresthill Bridge as it crosses the North Fork of the American River I observed around 10 blue butterflies, mostly males, I believe.
