any chance of 1:1 image?
I know these are older photos and that you typically do not save the originals, but is there any chance of a 1:1 image of this one and the earlier one from 2019?

@SteveMorris
I finally posted the April 23, 2021 Chesiadodes simularia photo here, 1:1, if you're still interested.

Another Chesiadodes
I just found a Chesiadodes observation from April 23, 2021. Image appears at first glance to be better than the April 2, 2021 observation I just posted & I’ll be able to format to 1:1. I’ll alert you when I upload it.

Hi Steve
Unfortunately the originals are gone for these images. It would probably be best for someone (You? Steve Nanz?) who is good at post processing to mess with this image to suit the application it is needed in.

I did have another 2021 Chesiadodes observation that I never posted so I just uploaded it to "Chesiadodes". I squared it but the photo isn't all that great, it blends into the wood too well.

Chesiadodes is a regular flyer at my Mono County location so if the stars align I'll be able to get more photos next April. Conditions were too cold and blustery this past April so I basically didn't moth at that location.

As a side note, last spring I sent Chuck Harp 7 Chesiadodes moths along with a few other species that he was to spread & upload to Scan-bugs. For some reason the Chesiadodes never made the Scan-bugs website & I have no idea why. I'll try to remember to follow up.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

The males and females have pectinate antennae. So, I'm not sure of the gender.
