House Centipede

House centipede on steroids
I live in Northeastern Illinois--30 miles north of Chicago. We have quite a few of these, but has anyone ever seen these when they're 3-4 inches? Is it another species? They have so many legs that we call them toupee bugs. Since we live right on a creek, these things are in the house all the time.
