Guide d'identification des Araignées (Araneae) du Québec
By P. Paquin and N.Dupérré
Association des Entomologistes Amateurs du Québec, 2003
Identification guide with keys to genera and drawing of male pedipalpe and female epigyne for each species of spider found in the Province of Québec.

Spiders of North America: An Identification Manual
By D. Ubick, P. Paquin, P.E. Cushing and V. Roth (eds)
American Arachnological Society, 2005
Guide to spider families and genera found in North America north of Mexico. Includes ID keys and hundreds of black and white illustrations. The keys and figures are quite technical, so beginners may want to look elsewhere. On the other hand, armed with the anatomy figures in the introduction, it can't hurt to dive in and get started! My only gripe so far is that it does not provide much information about specific species.
