I've looked long and hard for a match to this and come up empty. Jim Vargo suggested this ID to me as a possibility, and that's the best I have to go on. I'd appreciate any other suggestions that anyone can offer.

Moved from ID Request. Seems reasonable; the similar species mentioned in the fascicle are all from CA.

Another possibility
Jim Vargo recently contacted me and wrote to say that he thought Symmetrischema striatella, Hodges 2039 is another possible match to this moth. It was Jim who suggested Anoncia as a possibility. His suggestions are meant only as tentative possibilities.

I'm certain this is not Symmetrischema. I still am not convinced A. aciculata is correct, but it looks reasonable. I can't think of another possibility.
