Large Shy Wasp

Large Shy Wasp
Pacific Heights Neighborhood , Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
April 9, 2021
Observed climbing the brick sound wall that runs parallel to the pedestrian walkway. It did not particularly like the attention of me and the camera and crawled into a large spacing between the brick, it did not want to fly likely due to strong winds. Sadly I only got a few good pictures before it got away.

I initially posted this observation on iNaturalist.org and I am certain its something in Family Ichneumonidae but another observer is confident it is Family Braconidae. The leg markings remind me of Oxyrrhexis carbonator which have been observed in the area and along the same brick structure.
