Micro Moth Caterpillar? - Ypsolopha walsinghamiella
Eastern Sierra, Mono County, California, USA
June 7, 2020
Size: ~1.5 cm
~7100' elevation. I reared this caterpillar from Bitterbrush (Purshia tridentata).
It pupated ~June 21 within a silk cocoon on the lid of the vial. It eclosed unsuccessfully July 7.
