White-Pink Springtail - Pseudosinella

White-Pink Springtail - Pseudosinella
Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA
May 2, 2021
Under same rock or group of rocks as this one. I notice this one has some pinkish color on it. May go out and try for another shot at these if I have time today. This is the only good shot I got yesterday.

Pseudosinella sp.
Nice iridisation.
Unfortunately with damaged antennae...

If the antennae were intact would it be of any help? I was showing someone around some of my favorite patches to look last night and there were several present in the area again. I could somehow try to photo one with good antennae, though seriously these things are fast!

It would help to
exclude Cyphoderus which we have excluded now on the fact that the specimen was not found in association with ants.
If you make new shots, try to focus on the eyes (if present).

Is what we have on this
Is what we have on this good enough to move it? Or continue to leave it here?

You can move it
to Pseudosinella sp.
