Stem Gall on Horsenettle - Lasioptera solani

Stem Gall on Horsenettle - Lasioptera solani
Conway, Faulkner County, Arkansas, USA
July 1, 2020
Lasioptera solani?

I noticed no galls of Solanum carolinense stems seem to have an id to species level yet and very few seem reported. This plant was growing wild in a drainage ditch that hadn't been mowed for months. Other plants were in the area, but only this gall was found on the plants I could get to. It was fairly large, if I remember correctly being two to three inches long. Post is also present here but currently unidentified: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/52245264
