View of the head capsule which combined with the short branched setae and host plant allow for species identification. Although the parasitoid larvae were removed before they started feeding the parent wasp had already injected the caterpillar with a chemical compound that prevents molting/pupation. As such the caterpillar stopped feeding on 04/02 and eventually died on 04/17.
