It was white with red spots along the sides and was about 4-5 mm long.

Moved from Spotted snake millipede.

This is a juvenile Julidae, likely Cylindroiulus, but I can't say for sure. The striations encircling the entire body rings rule out Blaniulidae and Parajulidae. As Ken pointed out, the eyes rule out Blaniulus, which lack eyes entirely.

Thanks for the correction! I should have mentioned in the comments that it was pale when I collected it, but that it darkened within a day or so.

Are you certain?
It appears to have eyes. If that's true, that would rule out Blaniulus according to Derek Hennen's comment here:
