Wasp from Mantis Ootheca - Podagrion

Wasp from Mantis Ootheca - Podagrion
May 13, 2021
I was given a praying mantis ootheca and told that it was not viable. I kept it in a vial and a month or so after receiving it, I noticed that the jar was full of mantis nymphs and tiny wasps. This is one of the wasps. It was difficult to get decent photos, but I did keep samples. I know that the ootheca was collected in the US, but I am not sure where.

Thanks
for the info. Do you know anyone who would be able to ID it to species? I kept specimens.

There is a key ...
... to the species of Podagrion from the Nearctic Region in: Grissell & Goodpasture (1981). A review of Nearctic Podagrionini, with description of sexual behavior of Podagrion mantis (Hymenoptera: Torymidae). Annals of the Entomological Society of America 74: 226-241.

Cool,
thanks! I'll see if I can find that.
