Size: 40 mm wingspan
Light colored moth.
Labial palps short but hairy.
Can't tell if it has ocelli or not as face is too hairy.
Antenna threadlike and frenulum present. Apex of front wing not sickle shaped.
Cu2 on front wing arises from distal part of cell.
M2 appears closer to M3 than M1 and cell appears open.
Sc on hind wing appears thickened at base.

Collected in pitfall traps in sagebrush steppe.
