Sure looks like this species. You're sure the plant wasn't some kind of Scutellaria?

 
You can see the winged stem--
You can see the winged stem--I am pretty sure this is Mimulus alatus. I was with another botanist who confirmed the ID of the plant at the time. I am pretty sure. I was surprised too, as I did not expect this moth to emerge from this host.
