Common baskettail - maybe? - Epitheca petechialis

Common baskettail - maybe? - Epitheca petechialis
Walden Ponds Habitat, Boulder, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
June 19, 2008
Size: About 1.5 inch
Sorry for the less-than-great photo, all I could get.

Moved
Moved from Clubtails. Oh oh! How many others did we drop in the wrong slot? Thanks Jason. We moved a lot of images to family pages. If you get a chance, especially Gomphidae, could you leave some identification comments and we'll move them to the right species page. Thanks again for catching that.

Moved
Moved from Dragonflies.

Cordulidae
whoops!

I think Dot-winged
Odonatacentral only has petechialis on the Colorado list and I do see the spots on the hindwing that should be distinctive. Very slender as well.

The only checklist I have for
The only checklist I have for Boulder county doesn't mention any baskettails. I am most grateful for your help.
