Tetraopes species found in Michigan - Tetraopes tetrophthalmus
Grand Ledge, Michigan, USA

Size: Small
I think this is either femoratus or tetrophthalmus. It was found on milkweed last year.

Tetraopes tetrophthalmus
Looks like Tetraopes tetrophthalmus to me. I have 6 in my collection. T. femoratus has red femurs, hence the name "Red-femured Milkweed Borer". Also, the first antennomere is red, and the antennae are ringed.
