A tiny white insect -
Ormenoides venusta
Great Falls, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
May 21, 2004
Size: ~7mm
I found this little white insect on a tree in my yard. At first I thought it was a tiny white moth, but the eye and the antenna do not look like look like a moth's.

So it's Ormenoides venusta for sure?
Andy,
Are you confident that it's Ormenoides venusta? Should I move it to the guide?
The pale orange coloring to the wing tips does seem to suggest Ormenoides venusta, but I'm HARDLY an expert.
