Eggs on glossy buckthorn

Eggs on glossy buckthorn
York, York County, Maine, USA
June 4, 2021
Size: 1-1 1/2 inch
I have been controlling invasive glossy buckthron (Frangula alnus) for years but have never seen these eggs before. I'm guessing it might be the orbed-narrow-wing moth (Magusa divaricata) but I can't find any data about it.

Moved from ID Request. This is a rust fungus.
