tiny ichneumon - female

tiny ichneumon - Female
Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA
June 2, 2021
Size: body 2.7mm w/o ovipositor
This one appears to key out to Cryptinae using Wahl's subfamily key (1). There are 2 spurs at the apex of the mesotibia although only 1 shows in the photos.
I tried to use Townes' "Gelinae key (2) and got as far as his tribe Gelini. After that, the key turned my brain to Gelato.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Moved from Ichneumonid Wasps.

Phygadeuontini…
The ovipositor sheath is always flexible in this group.

See reference here.

Thanks Ross
What's the Townes-speak equivalent of Phygadeuontini

answered my own question - in part: GIN says the old Cryptinae tribe of Phygadeuontini is what Townes called Gelini
