Poecilus, i'd suggest

Poecilus,
formerly a subgenus of Pterostichus, is also a good choice. Easy to distinguish on basis of Poecilus having distinct dorsal carinae (ridges) along the basal antenna segments. Can't really see them here but of course they could be hidden by an unfortunate viewing angle or inadequate resolution of photo and/or my monitor. By enlarging the image I begin to see a suggestion of a darkened ridge along right third antenna segment. If true, then genus Poecilus is indeed correct. Thanks.

Carabidae - Pterostichus
tentatively and more likely than Harpalus based on proportionately smaller head. Normally not a difficult genus distinction with specimen examination in hand. Hope to check back for new insights from your image.
