Homeowner reports to me: "Recently, large groups of worms have been crawling onto the patio from the lawn. At first, they appear to be a large stick or clump of mud, but upon closer inspection, it is hundreds of them moving as a single unit. There may be several groups of them. When sprayed with bug spray, the cohesive group breaks up and they die quickly. The next morning, there are several groups of them on the patio again. They get as far as the wall of the house and form a mound there."
