Moved
Moved from Sphinx Moths.

Smerinthus cerisyi (One-eyed sphinx)
Based on process of elimination - S. jamaicensis has double eyespots, and seems to be rare in British Columbia; S. saliceti doesn't occur in B.C. at all. That leaves S. cerisyi, which is common in B.C.
