Size: 1 1/2 inch? cocoon
Set of four pix: My grandson and I found this cocoon containing a spider and baby spiders between two bricks. When we moved the bricks apart we pulled off one side of the cocoon revealing details. We went in the house for a half hour or so to research cocoon spiders online. When we went back outside to check the situation, the cocoon had been repaired, as you can see in the final picture. So we put the bricks back the way we had found them originally, hoping we hadn't allowed too much predation or drying out of the contents of the cocoon.
