Mystery beetle - Psammoecus trimaculatus

Size: 3mm
This one has me stumped. Not even sure where to start with this guy. Was very tricky to photograph though. Would be sitting still and in a split second be sprinting away full throttle.

Edit: I think I found it, Psammoecus trimaculatus. Unsurprisingly, another non-native bug here in FL.
